HL Arledge writes quirky crime fiction. Literary Agent Elizabeth Pomada said he should describe himself as Elmore Leonard with a southern accent.
Today, HL is also the Chief Communications Officer of an international software company based in central California. Before moving to California, he ran a Louisiana software company for fifteen years, but it's his fifteen years as a hard-nosed journalist that fuels his passion for writing Crime Fiction.
HL's short stories have been published in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Twilight Zone, and Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. He is currently working on his first novel.
